Are you a Systems and Website Administrator who thrives in a varied, fast paced environment? We are seeking a Systems and Website Administrator to assist our South Etobicoke location (walking distance from Kipling/Islington subway stops).
- This is a _hybrid_ position, after probation, with_ core working hours from Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm.

The role is suitable for Canada-based applicants only who are located within a short commute to our offices in South Etobicoke. The incumbent will be required to come to the office when on a hybrid schedule, including when there is assistance urgently needed onsite.

**Duties & Responsibilities**

This role is a one person team that encompasses a blend of Training Responsibilities, Systems and Website Administration and Technical Support.

**Cyber Security**:

- Protecting digital assets and information systems from various threats, including unauthorized access, cyberattacks, and data breaches
- Administer security best practices and maintenance.
- Installing and upgrading antivirus software and firewalls.
- Data backup and recovery.
- Keep Security Documentation updates

**Website Administration**:

- Website maintenance and assistance including product uploads and specifications (updates, imports, activations/deactivations).
- Shopify updating and maintenance, (coding: basic HTML or any other coding skills an asset)
- Maintain multiple Websites

**Training & Technical Support**:

- Providing technical training and support needed to employees and departments.
- Instruct employees in small groups on using various IT systems and software, providing in-person guidance and support throughout the training to learners of varying degrees of experience.
- Encourage active participation, provide feedback, and address learner questions effectively.
- Follow-up to ensure training effectiveness.
- Offer support and assistance to users with IT issues, troubleshooting problems and providing solutions.
- Onboarding new staff with all required tech and software.

**Systems Administration**:

- Installing and configuring hardware and software components.
- Setting up new equipment and upgrading existing systems.
- Maintaining hardware and software inventory.
- Managing the repair or replacement of damaged hardware.
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- Performing routine maintenance tasks on hardware and software.
- Installing and upgrading antivirus software and firewalls.
- Performing regular backups to ensure data integrity and availability.
- Maintaining technical documentation.
- Coordination with developers, testers, and all aspects of complex business.
- Travel to warehouse, store or trade shows when necessary.
- Testing new hardware and software.
- Defining software, hardware, and network requirements.
- Upgrading systems to enable software compatibility.
- Installation, maintenance, and repair of cable systems, including data, voice, and video cables.
- Maintenance of VPN, NAS, Cameras, MACs, VOIP, and IPhones, MDM.

**Experience (5 years minimum)**
- Mac OS platform (5 years in professional maintenance & troubleshooting)
- Network security
- Microsoft 365
- Web services (Shopify)
- Updating and Maintaining Websites

**Skill Set Required**
- Advanced understanding of Mac OS and iOS environments.
- Advanced understanding of networks and security of networks.
- Certified Shopify Partner
- Advanced understanding in web-based technology, such as, POS and Shopify
- Codification of procedures.
- Basic knowledge of html, scripting, etc.
- Proficient communicator.
- Soft skills for delivering quality technical support and training to a team.
- Ability to share technical knowledge in a relatable way.
- Small group training proficiency
