MDL is the contracted service provider to Fraser Health Authority’s Technical Infrastructure Projects Team and we are searching for an experienced Technical Project Coordinator for that team.

Description:
We’re looking for an individual with a strong attention to detail, comes across as positive and professional and has a strong sense of ownership in their work. When dealing with issues, they have a sense of urgency to resolve them quickly but thoroughly. Excellence in customer service is prime, they understand the importance of leadership, are a great communicator and handle pressure well.

They might be described as a “Jack-of-all-trades” with a hybrid skill set, because they take initiative to figure it out/learn as they go. When dealing with people, they are confident in their mission, regardless of the title. They come from a computer sciences background and have an understanding of commercial construction.

**Experience**:

- In the IT Infrastructure field or in a related field of Computer Science, Communications Distribution Design, Technology Construction, or equivalent:

- A Degree/Diploma/Certificate with a preference to some related experience; or
- A minimum of two (2) years of directly related experience.

An **industry certification** in Project Management (PMP, PgMP, PFMP, etc).

**Relies on limited experience** and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and common project management toolsets (SharePoint, MS P. Working knowledge of Windows OS and basic computer hardware and networking knowledge.

Some lifting required when moving desktop devices (computers, printers, etc), so must be able to **lift up to 75 pounds**.

Must have a **car and valid driver’s license**, regular travel is required.

Must be legally able to work in British Columbia, Canada.

**Responsibilities**:

- On behalf of Lower Mainland Health Authority owned and leased locations, the Technical Project Coordinator will work side-by-side with Technical Project Managers as part of a team, ensuring the successful delivery of technical infrastructure scope on facilities projects.
- Adheres to deadlines, is responsible to monitor and summarize progress.
- Builds and maintains strong working relationships with customers of MDL, team members, design consultants, contractors, and others.
- Conducts client needs analysis, inventories, audits.
- Ensures technical infrastructure requirements are planned and provisioned.
- Ensures technical resources are secured and scheduled.
- Ensures all costs associated are captured, approved, and tracked.
- Ensures desktop devices are secured and asset locations are tracked.
- Ensures any and all outstanding deficiencies are completed.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $28.63-$38.46 per hour
