Trotman Auto Group (TAG) is looking for an Operations Coordinator with previous automotive experience to join their team
**About the Role**:
Reporting to the Director of Strategic Initiatives, the Operations Coordinator is responsible for overseeing specific stages within various Strategic Initiatives launched throughout the Dealer group. In this role, they will oversee administrative tasks, provide ongoing support, training and reports related to each project, and communicate with stakeholders to ensure resource availability for the teams.
It is your responsibility to ensure the project management framework is well-organized, runs smoothly and meets the desired outcome.
**Schedule**: Monday - Friday; Full-Time
**Salary**: $45k-$50k per annum
**Primary Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Ensuring that client needs are met as the project evolves
- Solving any issues that may rise during the project
- Coordinating project schedules, resources, equipment, technology and information
- Liaising with clients to identify and define project requirements, scope and objectives
- Managing and building relationship with multiple teams throughout the organization, related to ongoing projects
- Assisting the Director of Strategic Initiatives with administrative functions and processes
- Managing day to day activities for the operation teams
- Analyzing project data, project costs and producing progress reports
- Ability to work at various locations within the Lower Mainland (Surrey - Abbotsford)
**Qualifications**:
- A degree/diploma in business administration, business management or relevant field is preferred
- Proven work experience as a project coordinator /operations coordinator or similar role is preferred
- Ability to prepare and interpret flow charts, schedules and step by step action plans
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to adapt to changing environments and timelines
- Excellent attention to detail and strong project management skills
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to organize priorities based on deadlines
- Excellent presentation and training skills
