Construction Coordinator

Lower Mainland, Canada Brasfield Builders Ltd. Full time

The Construction Coordinator is responsible for providing assistance, support, and coordination for all Construction activities on assigned projects. The Construction Coordinator will work closely with the construction teams and Directors to facilitate the successful execution of Construction processes and procedures.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist with preparation of scope of work and deliverables
- Assist in planning, preparation and review of tender documents
- Contribute to the development of appropriate procurement strategies and manage the tender process as directed by team members.
- Participate in project meetings with contractors and consultants, prepare meeting minutes
- Coordinate construction schedule and activities for multiple projects
- Assist in establishing and maintaining tracking for project costs, schedule, risks and opportunities
- Issue progress updates as needed regarding costs and timelines
- Preparation of proposal submission documents
- Coordinate work with regulatory bodies and utility companies
- Attend sites at various locations throughout the Lower Mainland
- Other duties and responsibilities to be assigned from time to time based on the needs of the projects

Qualifications:

- 5 plus years of onsite experience within the construction industry
- PMP designation or equivalent
- Competent interpreting blueprints and drawings
- Familiarity with industry software such as Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project etc.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and general computer software
- Demonstrated knowledge of construction, engineering, and architecture principles
- Familiarity with contract structures and delivery methods
- Excellent time management and interpersonal skills
- Outstanding written and oral communications, including a strong command of the English language
- Ability to work in a team environment

Pay: $70,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
