Brantford, Canada Tigercat Industries Inc. Full time

As the Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate input and review of billing incurred by the organization.

Day Shift - 8am
- 4:30pm - Monday to Friday
- Timely and accurately voucher supplier invoices electronically in a paperless environment
- Retrieval of scanned packing slips to solve quantity discrepancies/duplicate shipment invoice issues
- Review of vouchers payable receipts on a regular basis for assigned vendors
- Review of supplier statements, to ensure all invoices are entered monthly
- Contact the supplier for missing invoices or discrepancies in the statement
- Reply to inquiries from suppliers on the status of an invoice or group of invoices
- Communicate with other internal departments and external parties when required
- Assist others in the accounting group as needed

**Skills & Experience**:

- Understanding of accounting and general ledgers
- Strong work ethic and a positive attitude
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Accurate data entry skills and attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to accurately calculate, post and correct invoices and discrepancies.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Working independently and as part of a team
- Highly organized and able to prioritize
- High level of moral judgement for handling confidential information
