**Human Resources Generalist**

Tremco is seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to join the Human Resources team on a full-time, permanent basis. The incumbent is a member of the HR Shared Services team and will perform a variety of HR functions that support department and company growth. The HR Generalist will be responsible for compliance, benefit and policy administration, performance management, training and development, and employee relations.

The role is mostly remote, but the incumbent will be required to visit our office in mid-town Toronto approximately once a week / month.

**Responsibilities**

**Recruitment and Onboarding**:

- Develop postings, post on applicable sites, assist with pre-screening, distribute personality profiles, draft employment contracts, schedule medical appointments and monitor reference check process.
- Perform orientations as required
- Assist with making process improvements for in the areas of recruitment and onboarding.
- Perform training for mgmt. and employees on how to complete the requisition and onboarding tasks on the system
- Provide trouble-shooting support on the system

**Benefits, Pension and Compensation**:

- Ensure HRIS system benefits and enrollments are up to date and accurate for all the RPM companies.
- Audit HR systems to ensure information accuracy and consistency across all systems.
- Auditing the reports and data for interface and payroll system.
- Provide back-up support to HRIS Analyst on maintenance of employee data in Oracle.
- Manage compensation programs

**Other HR Support**:

- Create Standard Operating Procedures for the assigned areas as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned by HR Director. Areas will include but are not limited to, performance management, compensation, employee relations, training, and compliance.
- Schedule and conduct New Hire Orientation Sessions as required
- Organize, streamline, and oversee the onboarding process for new hires into the company
- Prepares and conducts general training courses as required.
- Responsible for tracking of Oracle compliance training and completion
- Monitor HR inboxes and respond to or route inquiries to the appropriate person; ensure follow up on all questions and work to resolve issues
- Responsible for adding new benefits and pension content and keeping Tremco Intranet up to date
- May assist with employee relations as necessary.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in employee relations / HRIS systems and as a Generalist.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, business management, psychology or related field, OR equivalent work experience.
- CHRP Certification is an asset.
- Ability to keep up with technical innovation and trends in HR.
- Consistently applies diplomacy and courtesy when dealing with all internal and external clients.
- Handles all matters with a high degree of discretion and professionalism.
- Bilingual (English/French) considered an asset.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills with attention to detail are important.
- Must have access to internet to perform duties.
- Must demonstrate initiative, independence, and problem-solving skills
- Must produce high quality and volume of work in a fast-paced environment, ability to multi-task a must
