**Administrative Assistant**
**BD Mitchell Prosthetic & Orthotic Services Ltd** is looking to fill a position for a part-time (5 hour shift per week day) Administrative Assistant.
This position is in a busy medical office, working alongside another 3 administrators, completing tasks for our clients and the clinical team. This position has a variety of duties in administration and ordering/receiving. If you are willing to learn and enjoy working in a team, this position is for you.
We are flexible on the scheduled time of the shift, fitting anywhere between 7:30 and 5pm. Once a beneficial start time has been organized, this will be consistent.
**Responsibilities**:
- Complete client intake forms, prepare paperwork for any direct billing
- Coordinate with hospital staff for any admitted or emergency patients that require prosthetic or orthotic clinical care
- Address requests from clinicians or technicians re
- scheduling of clients' work orders or office visits.
- Answer incoming calls and schedule clinical appointments.
- Prepare estimates to funding agencies for approval, and invoicing them by performing various clerical tasks such as typing, faxing, copying, scanning, etc.
- Order materials/componentry for technical and clinical staff
- Receive materials/componentry ordered
- Request return authorizations and prepare for shipping any items no longer required.
**Skill**:
- Experience in an administrative setting is an asset, but not essential. Training will be provided.
- A professional attitude, attention to detail, the ability to multitask.
