**Job Overview**
A well-established and professional accounting office is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Administrative Assistant / Bookkeeper to join the team on a part-time basis. This position is ideal for someone with a background in office administration and bookkeeping who thrives in a fast-paced, organized environment.

**Responsibilities**
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, or similar)
- Process invoices, payments, bank reconciliations, and payroll data (training will be provided)
- Prepare spreadsheets, and various business documents
- Handle confidential client information with professionalism and discretion
- Provide administrative support to the accounting team and assist with ad hoc tasks
- Maintain organized records of all financial transactions and documentation for easy retrieval.
- Collaborate with other team members to streamline bookkeeping processes and improve efficiency.
- Other tasks as needed

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 2 years of experience in an administrative and/or bookkeeping role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Hands-on experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 32 per week

Additional pay:

- Bonus pay
- Overtime pay
