VodaSafe is an exciting young company working to transform the water rescue industry. Our first product, AquaEye®, is a hand-held scanning sonar device for waterfront rescue that was launched in 2019 and has been adopted by water rescue and victim recovery organizations across the globe.

Our mission is to transform water rescue and victim recovery and help ensure rescue teams return safely to their homes at the end of the day. As a small organization, all of our team members are expected to support the mission of the company, often wearing multiple hats and remaining flexible in their job duties.

**WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING**:

- Managing sales and inventory finances:

- Cash flow reporting
- AP/AR
- Invoice management
- Track inventory purchases and cash management
- Internal operations and reporting:

- Payroll, vacation, remittance
- Expense reports
- Liaise with external accounting team
- Grants and special projects:

- Lead the research of new grants for which VodaSafe qualifies
- Collaborate with CEO on special projects including financial content for pitches and investor updates
- Work with CEO to develop new systems, policies and procedures

**Requirements**:
**Required Qualifications**
- 5+ years of experience in inventory accounting, bookkeeping and administration or similar
- Post-secondary education in a related field such as Business Administration, Accounting or Office Administration preferred or relevant experience
- Demonstrates an interest and enthusiasm in the product, industry and mission of our company

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Inventory accounting
- AR & AP management (tracking and reconciliation)
- Operations and office administration
- Common HR business practices and people operations
- Invoicing and invoice management
- Tracking/reconciliation of accounts payable and receivable
- Fast-paced, changing and/or startup environments
