Our Edmonton office is seeking a **Human Resources Manager. This **position reports to the Managing Partner and is responsible for assisting in strategic planning and making contributions to the development and accomplishments of Capital Engineering’s plans and objectives. The HR Manager must also act as an employee advocate, while acting in the best interest of Capital Engineering.

**Position Responsibilities**:

- Full cycle recruitment
- Onboarding new employees
- Employee relations
- Employee compensation and benefits administration
- Employee Service Awards Program
- Assist employees with an understanding of Capital’s corporate policies
- Support/assist with Drug & Alcohol test bookings
- Manage the Fit for Duty Program
- Assist management with various corporate initiatives

**What we Value / Qualifications**:

- Certificate, diploma or degree in Human Resources
- Minimum seven (7) years of direct Human Resources experience; experience within professional services would be an asset
- Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) designation is preferred
- Knowledge with provincial legislation, including OHS
- Intermediate level experience with Microsoft Office - Outlook, Word, Excel
- Outstanding organizational, written, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a high degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality
- Work effectively, independently, and within a multi-disciplinary team environment

This is a full-time permanent on-site position located in Edmonton.

**Salary**: $90,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
