The Human Resources Manager helps all operations of Mint Drug Health + Drugs with recruitment and selection, training and development, employee relations, health and safety, and compensation and benefits. The Human Resources Manager assists the directors with workforce planning, HR strategy, culture development, and succession planning. The Human Resources Manager ensures all regulatory compliance is met with respect to privacy and other applicable legislation. **The Human Resources Manager works 40 hours/week, including flexible hours to work occasional evening hours.** **Your Day to Day can include**: **Management and Leadership**: - Manage all human resources operations, including recruitment and termination, compensation and benefits, training and development, employee relations, and health and safety. - Assist with the development of the human resources strategy and oversee the execution of the strategy. - Manage the development of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and laws. - Create tools to simplify and implement effective HR procedures and processes - Oversee the operations of the HR department and projects related to HR operations - Coach and support pharmacy managers with HR operations, including employee issues - Be the first line of contact and liaison with third-party providers on behalf of the employees. - Understand the business, business strategy, and growth objectives to effectively meet the current and future needs of HR and develop a plan to address those needs - Manage and be accountable for the HR budget and discrepancies. - Work collaboratively with senior members of the Mint Team on organization-wide projects. **Transactions**: - Oversee that all job vacancies are posted and interviews are scheduled within established timeframes - Review, update and sign off on job descriptions on an annual basis - Ensure new employees receive an orientation to Mint Health + Drugs and onboarding is completed with the required information communicated and collected - Work with the finance team to audit payroll and benefit payments, reconciliations, and adjustments - Work with third-party providers to ensure best practices and cost-effectiveness in areas of benefits, WCB, and other applicable partners - Prepare performance management packages for all managers on an annual basis and coach them on the process **Reporting**: - Recommend benchmarks against which to measure the competitiveness of compensation and benefits - Calculate, analyze, and report on Key Performance Indicators related to HR - Provide a system of management for onboarding, recruitment, performance management, and safety - Create and maintain a short and long-term human resources plan with senior management **Compliance**: - Coordinate the provision of information to external auditors for the annual audit related to the HR function - Ensure all HR practices are aligned with all legislative requirements - Support managers with compliance with the Worker’s Compensation Act **What You Will Bring to The Team**: **Education and Experience**: - Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, CPHR preferred - Minimum five years experience in a human resources management role as an effective leader - Experience working within an organization with multiple locations and diverse employees is an asset - Experienced with ATS or HRIS systems such as Ceridian Dayforce - Experienced with payroll and benefits is required - Experienced within the pharmacetical/health industry is desirable **Qualifications and Skills**: - Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office
