As a Funding Coordinator, you will be responsible for reviewing cheque requests with the accompanying letters/documents that are sent to external parties, validating completeness and accuracy. You will issue cheques for multiple lenders from different bank accounts, process electronic payments and outgoing couriers. You will interact with internal partners regarding discrepancies in document detail, calculations, and funding particulars.
HERE’S HOW YOU’LL CONTRIBUTE:
- Review funding confirmation notices from lenders and verify receipt of funds.
- Process high volume wire payments across multiple bank accounts via electronic means (EFT/Wires).
- Monitor balances across multiple bank accounts to ensure sufficient funds are maintained
- Utilize Excel to track and record outgoing wire payments.
- Provide payment support and resolution, respond quickly to any challenging adhoc funding payment requests, research and investigate historical funding transaction activity, ensuring customers receive priority confirmations.
- Respond to escalations from peers regarding wire delays and provide confirmation numbers as needed
HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
- Understanding of process workflow and time management in Financial services back office and/or Solicitor office.
- Understanding of bank activity and statement reporting.
- High-level attention to detail and accuracy, organization and prioritization
- Strong computer skills including intermediate level of MS Excel
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Solid interpersonal and team building skills
