Do you have strong attention to detail and a love of numbers? Your passion could be exactly what our Finance Team needs. We currently have an opening for an Accounting Administrator in our Duncan office.
The Accounting Administrator will report directly to the Director of Finance and will be responsible for managing the bi-weekly payroll process, AP/AR, and assisting employees/managers with expense-related queries. The Accounting Administrator collaborates with members of the Finance Team to ensure smooth financial operations in all facets of the company.
The Accounting Administrator may, from time to time, have the opportunity to provide coverage for other positions within the organization, as requested by the DOF. These activities promote a learning environment and contribute to organizational succession planning.
**Essential Qualifications and Required Skills**:
**- Diploma in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent experience**
**- Ongoing learning specifically related to Financial Management (e.g. workshops, articles, and other methods to remain up-to-date in the field)**
**- 5 years’ experience with processing payroll and remittances**
**- Familiar with office administration and human resources processes**
**- Proficient with Sage accounting software**
**- Experience in accounts payable payments and monitoring recurring transactions**
**- Proactively track and record accounts receivables and follow up with any outstanding invoices**
**- Strong clerical support such as: filing and tracking employee expense claims, and maintaining accurate records and files**
**- Timely processing of bank reconciliations and credit card transactions**
