**Bookkeeper / Junior Accountant**:

**Position Summary**

This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, dependable, and enjoys working in a team environment. The position includes a mix of bookkeeping, tax preparation, and administrative support.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Perform bookkeeping duties for a range of small business clients using **Sage** and/or **QuickBooks Online**:

- Assist with the preparation of **personal income tax returns** and related filings, especially during February to April
- Collaborate with the team to meet deadlines and support client needs
- Provide **administrative support** as required, based on workflow and client volume

**Qualifications**
- Basic understanding of accounting principles
- Strong **data entry** and **account reconciliation** skills
- Comfortable working with **Microsoft Excel and Word**:

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn

Pay: $21.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
