**Overview**:
Southside Dodge Chrysler is a medium sized automotive business in Red Deer, AB. We are fun, professional, and rewarding and our goal is to be the leader in sales and customer service in Red Deer & Central Alberta. We are looking to add to our F&I team and are ready to hire immediately.

The Finance & Insurance (F&I) Manager sells new and used car buyers financing and insurance programs, aftermarket products and warranty’s. F&I managers also work with financial lenders to give fair interest rates to buyers and programs. As with all positions within dealerships, F&I managers are expected to uphold the highest ethical standards. F&I Managers are required to maintain the profitability of their department while controlling expenses and maintaining customer satisfaction. Managers are required to not only understand and keep abreast of the federal, provincial, and local regulations that affect their operations, but must also comply with these regulations. Management personnel require strong communication skills to deal with customers, employees and vendors, as they represent the dealership. People working within the automotive retail industry often have to work extended hours, evenings and weekends to achieve their goals.

This position will work specifically with credit challenged individuals and lenders that cater to non-prime specific loans.

**Responsibilities**:

- Negotiate terms and conditions with financial institutions to secure favorable financing for clients.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to financial transactions.
- Collaborate with sales teams to ensure seamless integration of financing options into the sales process.
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions and customer interactions.
- Utilize strong math skills to analyze financial data and prepare reports as needed.
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in financial regulations that may affect dealership operations.

- Able to operate manual and automatic transmissions.
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office

**Education & Experience**
- Minimum High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- College certificate or additional courses would be an asset.
- Preference to 1 year automotive finance experience.
- Provincially licensed as recognized by AMVIC.
- Adaptable to work evening and weekend shifts as scheduled.
