IT Technician

Southside Dodge is looking for an experienced computer technician or in a similar role to expand, maintain, and support our IT infstructre to ensure our services run smoothly and effectively to meet customer needs and the company’s expansion plans in terms of IT & infrastructure.

**Responsibilities**:

- Repair, upgrade and maintenance of both local and wide area networks to ensure services run smoothly for multiple departments
- Provide onsite and telephone support for computer hardware and telephone systems. Company mobile phone provided.
- Administer and support the network communication system used for our staff, and customers
- Provide basic training on the use of the network and the standard software packages to new staff users, as well as providing support to user’s specific issues of using software packages when required
- Communicate opportunities for improved leveraging of hardware, software, and support resources including standardization
- Ensure all system problems are tracked and logged in accordance with problem management procedures
- Ensure that client device security is maintained in accordance with corporate security policies and participate in security compliance reviews
- Implement tests and operate security and quality controls
- Perform other tasks as assigned by management and maintain IT inventory

**Qualifications**:

- A post-secondary technology certificate, diploma, degree, or equivalent specializing in computers, networking, and/or information systems is preferred
- 2 years (or more) experience working in the same or similar role is preferred
- Fluent in English
- 1 year (or more) experience with Dealer Management Software (DMS) is preferred

**Salary**: $3,800.00-$5,000.00 per month
