**Some of what you will do**:
**Specifically, You Will**:
- Support in executing day-to-day TA strategies to further drive the team’s operational excellence across compliance and system utilization
- Open and close assigned job requisitions as per TA needs
- Collaborate on and implement all appropriate sourcing avenues for posting and promoting a position
- Screen job requisition to assess applicant’s suitability and book interviews accordingly
- Ensure timely communication and update all parties involved regarding applicant status
- Assist in making recommendations for process improvement to further drive results and solutions across the TA enterprise
- Participate in career fairs and information sessions to further build awareness surrounding Staples opportunities
- Maintain applicant tracking system (ATS) to ensure accurate and compliant record keeping
- Responsible to enter all new hire paperwork into PeopleSoft when needed
- Track and report talent acquisition activities for all required metrics
- Responsible and accountable for expenses incurred related to travel and accommodations
**Some of what you need**:
- University Degree/Post-secondary education required or related experience preferred
- Certificate/Degree in Human Resources Management completed or in progress
- Previous experience in retail an asset
- Minimum of 1-2 years of years previous recruitment experience preferred
- Minimum of 1-2 years of previous talent acquisition/HR (or related field) coordination support
- Bilingualism (French) is an asset
- Effective use of business systems such as Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point
- Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems, Internet sourcing methods and PeopleSoft (HRIS) would be considered an asset
- Ability to handle multiple job requisitions simultaneously and balancing numerous priorities within a fast-paced environment
- Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information
- Ability to influence and provide feedback to hiring Managers
- Strong written and oral communication skills
