**About the Role**
We are a modern, two-story, patient-focused dental practice seeking a friendly and organized **Dental Office Administration Assistant** to join our office team. This role supports daily administrative operations, patient communication, and insurance coordination.
We’re thrilled to share that our newly renovated second-floor space is complete and officially open for patients.
**Responsibilities**
- Greet patients and manage check-in/check-out
- Answer phones and respond to patient questions
- Schedule, confirm, and update appointments
- Verify dental insurance and obtain pre-authorizations
- Collect payments and assist with billing inquiries
- Submit and follow up on insurance claims
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Support the clinical team with patient flow
- Support the office manager in duties
- General administrative tasks (filing, scanning, reports)
**Qualifications**
- Dental experience required
- Knowledge of dental insurance and terminology
- Experience with dental software (Abeldent)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
- Good computer skills and knowledge
- Professional, reliable, and team-oriented
**Schedule**
- Monday-Friday
- One evening per week Monday or Wednesday available. No weekends.
