**Position Overview**:
Reporting to the Manager, Accounts Payable and Receivables, the Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices while ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies. This role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage high-volume transactions efficiently.

**Primary Job Functions**:
The duties of the **Accounts Payable Specialist**include:

- Oversee the accounts payable inbox, ensuring timely receipt and processing of invoices.
- Accurately enter, verify, and code invoices into NetSuite, ensuring compliance with approval protocols.
- Reconcile vendor statements, resolve discrepancies, and respond to internal and supplier inquiries.
- Assist with month-end accounts payable accruals and financial reporting tasks.
- Maintain organized and accurate financial records in accordance with company policies.
- Contribute to process improvements and best practices to enhance efficiency.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

**Qualifications & Requirements**:

- ** Education**:

- Diploma or degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
- ** Experience**:

- Minimum of three (3) years of accounts payable experience in a high-volume environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and financial systems.
- Experience with NetSuite is an asset.
- ** Skills & Abilities**:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
- Proactive approach to process improvement and operational efficiency.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information with discretion.
