**Work Arrangement**:This is a in person role primarily based in the Corporate Office at the Edmonton International Airport with occasional work-from-home flexibility
**Position Overview**:
The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for receiving, processing, and verifying invoices related to accounts payable.
The Accounts Payable Specialist will be accountable for the following duties:
- Entering accounts payable transactions accurately and on a timely basis for payments
- Verifying invoices and coding into SAGE
- Ensure approval signature received
- Respond to and resolve internal and supplier inquiries
- Statement review and reconciliation
- Assist with month-end accounts payable accrual entry
- Assist with the timely upload of employee reimbursement
- Any other duties assigned by the Company from time to time
**Qualifications & Requirements**:

Education**:
- Post-secondary education in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
- **
Experience**:
- Minimum of three (3) years prior accounts payable experience in a high-volume environment. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
- Previous Experience with Sage 300 is an asset
- **
Skills and Abilities**:
- Strong and flexible work ethic
- High level of initiative and attention to detail
- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent organizational skills

- Clear criminal record check and satisfactory references
- Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment alcohol and drug screening test _(only when applicable)_
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC) _(only when applicable)_
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada without restriction
