We manufacture external beam therapy units, self-contained blood irradiators and developing new products, particle accelerators for radioisotope production. **JOB SUMMARY**

Co-ordinate both internally and externally relevant logistics functions with responsibility for the timely, cost effective arrangement of traffic, transportation, import and export documentation for Best Theratronics products worldwide.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Provides timely import and export documentation for Best Theratronics products worldwide.
- Handling and booking truck, air, ocean export and import shipments
- Plans and co-ordinates cost effective transportation arrangements for the shipment of Best Theratronics equipment worldwide and assists in returns as required.
- Co-ordinates shipments of spare parts to ensure minimum turnaround time after receipt of relevant packing information from warehouse.
- Ensures internal and external customers are kept informed of shipment schedules and Best Theratronics product arrivals and departures.
- Ensures Logistical compliance and prepares documentation accordingly.
- Arranges for, and is conversant with, international transport and freight forwarding.
- Audits freight accounts and ensures charges are as per agreement and reconciled with contracts.

**SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS**
- Normally community college graduation and minimum 5 years related experience.
- Post-secondary education in Logistic field is an asset.
- Knowledge of customs documentation, incoterms and international shipping documentation.
- Must have a working knowledge of the technicalities of the transportation and freight forwarding industry. Preferably with background in Dangerous Goods handling and transport.
- Familiarity with USA and Canadian Customs regulations. Import and Export documentation knowledge.
- Experience working with import and export Letters of Credit is an asset.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Must be well organized and able to make judgments under pressure.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
- Computer software proficiency (Outlook, Access, Word, Excel)
