Production Manager

Elecon Systems is manufacturer of lighting towers, diesel and natural gas powered generators, load banks and other equipment. We have an opening for a dynamic, experienced Production Manager
with “hands-on”, “roll-up the sleeves” and “get your hands dirty” mentality.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Plan, organize production, with efficient use of materials and labor, supervise staff
Organize efficiently the use of raw materials, ensure that materials and supplies are stocked and that all the equipment is up to date, safe, and in proper working order
Direct, control and evaluate the daily operations on the floor for product flow, and quality
Staff management, develop production schedules, determine labor gaps in production and react based on relevant information
Improve and implement changes to manufacturing process and methods of work
Production reporting procedures for finished product, order statuses, oversee product standards
Train and oversee training of new employees
Attend weekly meetings to communicate production results and plan future production objectives
Motivate and evaluate staff work performance an be in charge of hiring and training new shop floor employees.
Ensure the final products are in compliance with the company standards and customer requirements.
Maintain day-to-day safety
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
Prior engineering or production and supervisory management experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong time management and organizational skills, proven ability to lead
Multi tasking and strong attention to detail is essential
5-10 years of Production Manager experience is a must
Proven effective communication skills with employees, customers, vendors
Strategic/critical thinking and problem solving/analysis skills
University or college degree in Electrical or Mechanical engineering
Duties and responsibilities may change at any time with or without notice
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $82,276.56-$103,573.73 per year
