**Job Title**: Production Manager

**Reporting to**: Director of Social Enterprise

**Role Summary**
Reporting to the Director of Social Enterprises, Chrysalis needs a strong leader to fill our vacant position as a Production Manager. In this role, you would be ensuring that our products meet or exceed customer expectations. We are looking for someone who takes pride in our product and their important role in providing them to the customers. Someone who ensures that the manufacturing processes run reliably and efficiently.

**Roles and responsibilities**:

- Monitor daily shipments
- Oversee production planning and management activities within the organization
- Develop production plan, budget
- Execute the plant operating budget in accordance to targets
- Monitor backlog and OTD
- Ensure finished products meet customer quality standards and specifications
- Conduct meetings as required with supervisory and scheduling staff to ensure schedule is maintained
- Manage the team performance through effective leadership, training, performance management
- Develop equipment maintenance schedules and recommend the replacement of machines and / or introduction of new equipment
- Plan and implement changes to machinery and equipment, production systems and methods of work
- Plan, organize, direct and evaluate daily operations
- Oversee the implementation of manufacturing schedules, personnel requirements, quality control, production standards and safety programs
- Other duties as assigned

**Requirements**:

- Five (5) years’ experience in a senior supervisory capacity in the manufacturing field
- Must have experience with at least 1 ERP system, more would be beneficial
- Post secondary education in Project Management is considered an asset
- Clear Police Check including a Vulnerable Sector Check
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship now or in the future
- No relocation is being offered for this position
