The mission of this role is to ensure that the administrative functions are carried out in an efficient, effective and timely manner. Maintains confidentiality in all aspects of the position and carries out all assigned responsibilities. The assistant is able to keep a high-quality level of organization and customer service combined with multi-tasking.
**Responsbilities**:
- Take initiative, multi-task, respond quickly and be a solutions maker in a fast moving company
- Take the daily customer orders at the office, print invoices, packing slips and distribution labels
- Develop a connection with our retail customers, prepare orders, issues invoices and follows up on late accounts in accordance with established procedures.
- Be an ace on the team to provide support to the owner, and office team.
- Performs other related duties as required.
- Coordinate office activities
- Monitor internal processes.
- Archive and organize documents in general.
- Deal with customer and company issues.
- Provide administrative support to other sectors
**Qualifications required**:
- Post-secondary diploma in office administration or undergraduate degree in business administration or related field.
- Experience with ERP or QuickBooks systems are an asset.
- The ability to converse and read in French and/or Spanish are also an asset.
- Strong Communication skills.
- Strong Organizational skills.
- Proactive, independent work habits and detailed follow-through.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills Ability to learn fast
**Employment Type**
Permanent Monday to Friday 9:00 am - 5:30 pm (included half hour break).
- Salary: $38,000- $45,000.00 per year.
- Food products promos and discounts
- 4% Bi-weekly Vacation Pay.
- Year-end bonus after working 1 year for the company
