**Desktop Support Job Purpose**:
Reporting to the Computer Operations Manager, this entry-level position is responsible for providing technical support, prepare and distribute equipment within the company and remote employees. Must be a good team player and have the ability to work independently. Proactive and with good communication skills.

**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES**:

- Preparing hardware and peripherals to be distributed to employees in a timely manner according to schedules created for that purpose.
- Install and configure desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, TVs and associated peripherals and related software.
- Preparing, packing and shipping equipment to employees working remotely making sure is received on time.
- Receive, log and check returned equipment, in person or by couriers, from employees leaving the organization or employees that require replacement.
- Provide onsite technical assistance to end users.
- Create shipping labels for employees returning equipment by courier and keep record of the returning log.

- An analytical thinker, ability to multitask or diverse information, collect and research data, use intuition and experience to troubleshoot and resolve computer related problems.
- Follow and document procedures.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff: verbal, written, and listening.
- Proven ability to work within stringent timeframes.
- Good organizational skills and detail-oriented.

**EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Minimum O.S.S.D.
- At least two year experience with Windows operating systems.
- At least two year experience with computer hardware, troubleshooting and repairing.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office professional tools.
- Efficient with troubleshooting software and hardware problems.
- Computer-related post-secondary education is an asset._

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $40,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

Work Location: In person
