Administrative and Marketing Assistant

**Position Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Financial Services Support**:
- Proactively follow up on pending cases to meet service standards.
- Ensure timely and compliant processing of policy issuance and settlements.
- Provide advisors with updates on policy cases and assist with solutions for potential issues.
- Respond to client inquiries regarding coverage and billing.
- Maintain electronic client files, ensuring all documents and paperwork are accurately logged.
- Provide backup support to team members during absences.
- Prepare annual commission reports for auditors.
- Perform other related duties and special projects as required.
**Marketing Support**:
- Manage and update the company’s social media profiles and presence.
- Assist in creating marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, and presentations.
- Coordinate and promote events, webinars, and community outreach programs.
- Monitor and report on marketing campaign performance and suggest improvements.
- Assist in maintaining the company’s website, ensuring content is up-to-date and engaging.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities.
- Help develop and manage client communication strategies, including newsletters and updates.
- Assist with the creation of marketing analytics and reports.
- Minimum of 1 year of administrative experience, preferably in the financial services or insurance industry.
- Current valid LLQP certification or must be in final stages of obtaining certification.
- Knowledge of financial and insurance terminology and products.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Proven accurate data entry skills with strong attention to detail.
- Experience with social media platforms and digital marketing tools.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently while functioning effectively as a team player.
- Professional interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
- Post-secondary education is preferred but not required.
