Connex is accepting resumes for a Bookkeeper / Office Administrator.
The role will be responsible to assist in the following areas:
- Accounting administration in Sage 50 that includes timesheets, payroll, bill payment, invoicing, bank reconciliations, tax remittance, project costing, cost allocations, journal entries, accruals, reporting, etc.;
- Reviewing timesheets and expenses for accuracy;
- Managing contractor travel arrangements.
- Amending and formatting resumes and job descriptions;
- Posting job advertisements on social media, company website, electronic job boards, etc.
- Other corporate administration and bookkeeping duties as assigned by Management.
- Completed post-secondary education in Business Administration, Business Management and/or Accounting;
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience
- Proficient using with Sage 50 (Simply) Accounting;
- Proficient using Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook;
- Strong financial acumen
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- A high degree of multi-tasking and time management capability;
- A strong attention to detail while also being flexible to adapt to an always-changing environment.
- Strong aptitude and willingness to seek out new and more efficient work practices.
