**About the Opportunity**:
The Development Coordinator plays an essential role in supporting the success of the BC Cancer Foundation. Working closely with senior leaders, this role provides administrative coordination, project tracking, donor support, and meeting logistics to ensure seamless and professional execution of fundraising initiatives and activities.
Reporting to senior members of the Development team and the SVP, CFO, the Coordinator works across portfolios supporting campaign activity, donor stewardship and reporting, calendar and meeting coordination, and CRM/database updates. This role is critical in supporting our internal operations while contributing to meaningful donor engagement.
**Key Responsibilities**:
Provide executive support to senior leaders by managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and organizing logistics for external and internal meetings, including thorough briefings.
Assist with preparation and delivery of personalized impact reports and stewardship materials, in coordination with the Donor Engagement team.
Monitor and support list review processes for events, communications, and stewardship across portfolios.
Generate and distribute weekly campaign reports and 1:1 meeting schedules.
Draft and track donor materials including Gift Agreements, Letters of Understanding, Briefing Notes, and Thank You acknowledgements.
Run audit queries, reconcile donor gifts, and enter actions and proposals into Raiser’s Edge (RE) database.
Manage expense submissions, credit card reconciliations, and internal documentation on a monthly and quarterly basis.
Coordinate key team meetings such as Monthly Business Updates and Top Donor Meetings, including agenda circulation, documentation, and follow-up.
Support planning for appreciation initiatives and cross-departmental meetings.
Act as a liaison with internal teams (Finance, Advancement Services, and IT) to support information flow and coordination of donor-related tasks.
**Core Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies**:
Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with strong attention to detail.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills; professional and clear correspondence with internal and external stakeholders.
Comfort with working independently while collaborating as part of a cross-functional team.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and CRM systems such as Raiser’s Edge is an asset.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Familiarity with fundraising operations, donor communications, or non-profit environments is considered an asset.

**Qualifications**:
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in administrative, coordination, or donor support roles.
Post-secondary education in business administration, communications, fundraising, or related fields preferred.
Previous experience in a non-profit or fundraising environment is an asset.
**Salary Range**: $50,000 - $61,000
