**Salary-** $50000k yearly

- If you live In Hamilton, Ontario OR Nearby Hamilton Area so that you can can drive to office location as it is an on-site role (M-F)
- If you meet below job decription, requirment and eligibility criteria
- Minimum 3 years experience in occupational health and safety field
- Working knowledge of the Workplace Safety and Insurance Act, the Occupational Health & Safety Act and regulations, including WHMIS and the Ontario Human Rights Code such as disability / WSIB claims management, health & safety, human resources, or occupational health
- Assist with the completion of the WSIB administrative process in its entirely including documentation, collaboration and referrals to WSIB specialist, Health and Safety, Payroll, Management and employees as appropriate
- Demonstrated experience in WSIB and Injury Claims Management
- Assist occupational health promotions, statistical information
- Coordinate and lead WSIB claims management refusals of modified work and any new medical or changes to medical information
- Receive and action all injury reports
- In partnership with our claims management provider, ensure all reports are submitted to WSIB within the required timeframes
- Lead the Joint Health and Safety Committee
- Prepare reports evaluating health and safety programs and participant satisfaction Qualifications

Job Qualification

**Education & Other Requirments**:

- Bachelor of Science in Occupational Health and Safety, Certificate or diploma program in Occupational Health and Safety, or College diploma or university degree directly related to Occupational Health and Safety
- JHSC Certification, considered an asset
- You have a solid understanding of safety regulations and associated legislation
- Excellent interpersonal and client relations skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Complete other tasks as requested.
- Adhere to Bayshore Policies and Procedures
