**Job Overview**
The Health and Safety Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring a safe and compliant workplace by developing, implementing, and overseeing safety programs and policies. This position requires a proactive individual who can effectively communicate safety protocols and foster a culture of safety among employees. The Health and Safety Coordinator will work closely with various departments to identify potential hazards, conduct training sessions, and ensure adherence to safety regulations.

**Duties**
- Develop and implement comprehensive safety training programs for employees at all levels.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with management to create safety policies that comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of safety incidents, training sessions, and compliance documentation.
- Facilitate safety meetings and workshops to promote awareness and engagement among staff.
- Investigate accidents or incidents to determine root causes and develop strategies to prevent future occurrences.
- Fabricate necessary safety signage or equipment as required to enhance workplace safety.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all safety-related inquiries and concerns within the organization.

**Skills**
- Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey safety information.
- Ability to develop engaging training materials that cater to diverse learning styles.
- Proficient in conducting risk assessments and implementing appropriate control measures.

- Experience in training development to enhance employee understanding of safety practices.
