**Duties**
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive client company health and safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular client site workplace inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Collaborate with various departments to create tailored training programs that promote safe work practices.
- Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions.
- Monitor the effectiveness of safety training initiatives and make necessary adjustments.
- Prepare reports on health and safety metrics, presenting findings to management for continuous improvement.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to occupational health and safety.
- Facilitate workshops and training sessions to educate employees on safety protocols.
- Assist in the fabrication of safety equipment or tools as needed to enhance workplace safety.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in health and safety management or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of the Ontario Occupational Health and Safety Act and applicable regulations and other relevant health and safety standards.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide workplace training to diverse groups effectively.
- Proficient in developing training materials tailored to specific job functions.
- Strong analytical skills for assessing risks and implementing solutions.
- Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of staff while promoting a culture of safety.
- Certification or designation in Ontario Occupational Health and Safety (e.g., CRST, CHST) is preferred but not mandatory.

Pay: $45,078.21-$55,948.22 per year
