These positions are provided through Canada Summer Jobs grant.

O'Keefe Ranch is looking for four youth, under the age of 31, to complete an 8 week work contract.

The primary role of this position is guest services during all activities. Due to the number of hires, we are able to somewhat tailer the position to your interests. Possible tasks include assisting with Ranch events such as High Tea, Cowboy Festival, Family Days and more. Assisting with administration duties such as digitization of documents as well as regular daily duties such as running the general store, covering for breaks and days off on the front desk, providing tours of the grounds and buildings, and assisting with opening and closing duties. For those who are very keen, being point of contact during weddings and facility rentals is an option.

The Ranch is open Wed to Sun from 10am to 4pm and special events run as early as 9AM to as late as midnight.

Skills and Abilities Required: - Strong Customer Service - Be Proactive - Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs - Must have a Drivers License (N, L or out of Province/Country is OK) - Must be able to work alone - Must be able to do navigate stairs.

The Ranch is located 10 minutes outside of Vernon and you must have transportation to and from the Ranch. Public transport is not available.
