Salary:
B&B Contracting Group is seeking a dedicated **Health & Safety Advisor** to join our growing company.

JOB PURPOSE

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The job duties performed by the Health & Safety Advisor include but are not limited to:

- Ensuring the corporate safety manual, policies, and procedures are implemented and maintained throughout all projects
- Assist with the implementation, development, and maintenance of the Company's Health & Safety and Injury Management Program
- Support with monthly inspections
- Assist with incident investigations
- Conduct new hire orientations
- Assist with coordinating injured workers' stay-at-work or return-to-work plans
- Coordinate employee training
- Maintain filing system and data entry
- Maintain inventory of safety supplies
- Record minutes at monthly safety meetings
- Deliver safety training to workers (Confined space, Fall protection, Forklift, EWP)

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Occupational First Aid Level 2
- Training in Construction Health & Safety is an asset
- Excellent leadership and conflict resolution skills
- Effective communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to perform under stressful conditions
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Effective organizational skills
- Train The Trainer (Fall Pro, EWP, Forklift)
