Health & Safety Advisor/trainer

B&B Contracting Group is seeking a dedicated Health & Safety Advisor/Trainer to join our growing company.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The job duties performed by the Health & Safety Advisor include but are not limited to:
Ensure the corporate safety manual, policies, and procedures are implemented and maintained throughout all projects.
Assist with the implementation, development, and maintenance of the Company's Health & Safety and Injury Management Program.
Travel between various jobsites throughout the Lower Mainland.
Ensure the safety and well-being of all employees on-site by monitoring that safe work procedures are understood and followed by everyone on site.
Provide valuable field support and contribute to additional projects as they arise.
Conduct monthly site inspections and assist with incident investigations.
Coordinate injured workers' stay-at-work or return-to-work plans.
Oversee new hire orientation and employee training.
Maintain inventory of safety supplies.
Attend and facilitate monthly safety meetings.
Deliver safety training to workers (Confined space, Fall protection, Forklift, EWP).
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
5+ years experience in the Civil Construction industry.
Occupational First Aid Level 2.
Training in Construction Health & Safety.
Excellent leadership and conflict resolution skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to perform under stressful conditions.
Keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy and compliance in safety documentation.
Self-motivated and well-organized, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks to manage.
Train The Trainer (Fall Pro, EWP, Forklift).
