POSITION: Accounts Payable Clerk
LOCATION: Mississauga, Ontario
DESCRIPTION:
Reporting to the Controller the Accounts Payable Clerk will perform administrative and clerical tasks related to the efficient maintenance and processing of Accounts Payable (AP) transactions.
**Responsibilities**:
Invoice Processing:
- Enter invoices to support AP in accordance with established policies and procedures
- Match invoices to receiving/supporting documentation for approval
- Assist with basic invoice data entry
- Attach invoice back up to weekly EFT and payment runs
- Assist with daily invoice register audits by checking data for correctness and ensuring necessary adjustments are made to the invoices.
Administration
- Perform related administration duties for AP team including filing and copying
- Perform other related duties as assigned
**Requirements**:
- High school diploma or equivalent with general understanding of Finance and accounting related policies and procedures
- Minimum of 1 year accounts payable or general accounting experience
- Knowledge of Excel and Microsoft NAV and Office 365 would be an asset
- Demonstrated knowledge of best practices and continuous improvement initiatives
- Capable of working in a fast-paced, high volume work environment
- Research, analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills to investigate, analyze, discrepancies

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
