**Work Arrangements**: Due to the nature of the work and operational requirements, this position is eligible for a hybrid work arrangement (combination of working onsite and telework). Employees in this position who telework will be required to travel to the identified work site at least three times per week at their own expense.

**The Role**:
Are you passionate about Human Resources and eager to contribute to a dynamic team at the National Research Council of Canada (NRC)? We're seeking a dedicated Human Resources Coordinator who embodies our core values of Integrity, Excellence, Respect, and Creativity.

As a Human Resources Coordinator (HRC), you will play a crucial role in providing operational support within our Client Services Team. You will be responsible for handling a diverse range of HR activities throughout the employment life cycle.

**The key activities of the Human Resources Coordinator are**:

- Prepare, disseminate, and maintain highly accurate documentation to support diverse HR activities.
- Generate and produce detailed reports.
- Coordinate and deliver operational support, offering frontline service for various HR processes by referencing multiple sources and standardized procedures.
- Engage with clients and stakeholders to exchange essential information.
- Respond to client queries promptly and effectively.
- Stay informed about HR programs, policies, and initiatives, assisting in communicating procedural changes to clients.
- Daily use of Human Resources Information System (SAP) and SuccessFactors to manage, track, and report data accurately.

**Education**:
Successful completion of secondary school according to provincial standards.

**Experience**:

- Recent and significant* experience in an office environment, providing front-line client service and operational support such as addressing client enquiries.
- Recent and significant* experience preparing, proofreading and formatting a variety of documents and correspondence.
- Experience at an intermediate level with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Outlook and Word.
- Experience managing multiple tasks or processes concurrently and monitoring their progress to completion.
- Experience with SuccessFactors would be considered **an asset**.
- Experience with utilizing a human resources information management system (such as SAP or SuccessFactors) for data entry, maintenance, tracking, and report generation would be considered **an asset**.
- Preference may be given to applicants with experience in providing client service and operational support specifically within an HR environment.
- Significant and recent is defined as a minimum of two (2) years of experience gained within the last five (5) years.
