Mercedes-Benz Country Hills is looking to grow their team with an experienced Warranty Administrator.

As a Warranty Administrator, you prepare, record, and reconcile warranty claims following the Mercedes-Benz Canada processing criteria. You are responsible for the accuracy and timelines of the process and ensure the dealership receives proper credit and monies due and you will successfully manage a warranty claim preparation and submission process.

**This opportunity is a 1 Year Temporary Contract with a strong possibility of transitioning into a **permanent** position depending on demonstrated skills and abilities.**

**You will be responsible for**:

- Keep abreast of all Mercedes-Benz service campaigns, recalls, and announcements.
- Prepare, process, record and reconcile warranty claims as per manufacturer policies & procedures.
- Check warranty coverage on customer vehicles and check for open recalls
- Hold any warranty claims that require manufacturer authorization
- Forward warranty claims for defective parts to the manufacturer
- Follow-up and resubmit unpaid claims returned by the manufacturer
- Keep the number of outstanding claims to a minimum
- File and retain warranty service records by the manufacturer
- Write warranty claims and goodwill policy requests according to manufacturer’s guidelines
- Respond to requests for additional information from manufacturers in a timely manner
- Analyze rejected claims and make recommendations to pursue treatment
- Communicate warranty repair processes to workshop coordinators, supervisors, and technicians
- Keep warranty schedules up to date
- Compile and track performance indicators related to warranty usage and claims
- Maintain records for auditing purposes
- Oversee the proper handling of warranty parts to be returned or discarded
- Comply with required health and safety regulations
- Other duties as required

**Qualifications**
- **CDK DMS Software proficiency is a strong asset**
- **Mandatory** 3 years of related work experience in a dealership
- Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Well-developed organization and planning skills
- Proven ability to work in a team
- Numbers oriented, with good attention to detail
