**Job Overview**

**Critical Aspects**
- Maintains accurate records and monitors the warranty process as outlined by HAC (Hyundai Auto Canada) on behalf of Precision Hyundai.
- Serves as the liaison with for Precision Hyundai with HAC factory representatives for resolution of all warranty issues and claims
- Ensures all warranty claims with HAC are paid and up to date with Precision Hyundai.
- To be aware of and maintain records with respect all service advisories (TSBs, Campaigns, Recalls, other warranty related announcements, and updates on LTS times) issued by HAC.
- Monitors and takes appropriate action to ensure service advisors are submitting warranty claims in accordance with the HAC defined process and time period.
- Is a recognized authority by HAC to authorize warranty repairs when not previously reported by the customers but identified by a Service Department representative in performing other work on the vehicle

**Key Responsibilities**
- Responsible to have advisors reconcile warranty labor time and parts corrections to align with paid claims.
- Communicates daily with department heads on all aspects and status of warranties.
- Ensures all processes are followed relate to HAC expectations of claim documentation. Pictures, Technician notes, proper signatures and authorizations.
- HYTAC, Hot line inquiries, PWA and claim inquiries are maintained and updated daily to ensure accuracy.
- Responsible to ensure that all Technicians and Advisors are aware of any bulletin updates, new recall information, and any claim process changes.
- Oversee and help the Service Advisors with the creation and submission of PWA’s on a required basis.
- Follows open PWA progress daily and updates PWA and associated Advisors and Technicians
- Advise Service advisors and Techs on best course of action relating to warranty policies and how to proceed.

**Experience**
- Proven experience in an administrative role is required. Hyundai experience will be preferred
- Proficiency in PBS software will be preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills are essential for this role.
- Familiarity with data entry processes and attention to detail is critical for accuracy in warranty administration.
