Customer Service Rep with Estimating Preferred

Brantford, Canada Mott Manufacturing Ltd. Full time

**Purpose**:
To act as the primary liaison and customer support for project managers and estimators from the dealer community.

**REPORTS TO**:
Customer Service Supervisor

**KEY Responsibilities**:

- Work in compliance with the provisions of the Occupational Health and Safety Act (or the “Act”) and the regulations; use or wear the equipment, protective devices or clothing that Mott requires to be used or worn; report the absence or defect in any equipment or protective device of which the worker is aware and which may endanger themselves or another worker; and report any contravention of the Act or the regulations or the existence of any hazard of which the worker is aware
- Enter orders
- Estimate & price custom items
- Interpret design drawings and reference them in orders
- Perform order revisions, and cancellations, as necessary
- Provide shipping, design and engineering information obtained from those departments to our dealer network when requested to do so
- Participate in on and off site dealer training and/or trade shows
- Enter Corrective Preventative Actions (CPA) when necessary
- Assist the Vice President, Sales & Marketing or President with additional projects as required
- Communicate with both internal and external personnel including: Sales & Marketing, Engineering, Operations, Accounting, Project Managers, Estimators, External Sales, End Users, Architects, and others.
- Provide back up to Marketing
- Perform other duties as required

**Skills & Experience**:

- Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, or related field
- Ability to read blueprints and data sheets
- Intermediate computer skills, including MS Office
- Intermediate math skills including the ability to convert fractions to decimals
- Attention to detail is critical
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Ability to learn quickly
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Intermediate verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to provide excellent customer service
- Has a “can-do” attitude
