Currently we are looking for a Bilingual Customer Service Representative - French
Duties and responsibilities
- Fully Bilingual French
- must have excellent written and oral skills.
- Take orders for domestic accounts from customers and sales reps.
- Ensure correct Promo/New Customer/New Product/etc. allocations entered on orders for tracking purposes.
- Enter orders on the computer.
- Check the sales rep's orders and other purchase orders.
- Answer the telephone when needed.
- Take Visa and Master Card payments over the phone.
- Invoice and credit Domestic & Export orders
- Track shipments with appropriate courier
- Credit check account prior to release of order
- Enter results for the B-Safe Program
- Outbound calls to customers as required.
- Comply with ISO 9001 specifications and GMP regulations.
- Will follow the responsibilities as outlined in the Ontario Health and Safety Act
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
**Qualifications**:
**Education**:
- Grade 12 or equivalent, or relevant experience
**Skills/Abilities/Characteristics**:
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously, work well under pressure, and deal with stressful situations with professionalism.
- Time management skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills in English and/or French, depending on role within the department.
- Computer aptitude
- Ability to provide effective and timely customer service to a variety of internal and external clients.
- Ability to work independently and manage a high-volume workload.
- Ability to easily adapt and change focus to meet constantly changing priorities and deadlines.
**Experience**:
- 1-2 years' working experience required.
Working conditions
- Manage a number of requests and situations at one time.
- Some light lifting of office supplies and materials.
- Prolonged use of the computer.
- Duties are performed in an office environment with some exposure to a manufacturing environment.
Physical requirements
- Spend long hours sitting and using office equipment and computers.
- Ability to hear and speak on the telephone.
