Assistant Wedding and Event Coordinator

JP&Co. Events is a full service event planning and hospitality management company that offers a wide range of services for weddings, corporate events, private parties, and other special events. We are looking for an energetic individual who is passionate about weddings and loves to help couples find ways to make their wedding day perfect.
- Manage the planning process from start to finish
- Communicate with vendors and clients to ensure the success of the wedding
- Manage the event flow from start to finish
- Prepare all necessary documents for the event coordinator
- Manage the venue and room staff to ensure smooth event flow
- Communicate with clients throughout the event process to ensure a successful experience
- Prepare all necessary forms for the event coordinator
- Manage and communicate with vendors, clients, and staff during the event process
- Prepare all necessary paperwork for the event coordinator
- Assist in organizing special events (i.e. weddings, rehearsal dinners, etc.)
- Prepare all necessary paperwork for our team members as needed (i.e. contracts, invoices, etc.)
- Other duties as assigned (event planning, catering, etc.)
**Experience**:
- Event planning or catering experience preferred but not required (1-2 years preferred)
- Experience in a wedding or special event venue (preferred)
- Experience working with wedding couples (preferred)
- WPIC Certified is an asset
- Must have own vehicle as frequent travel is required
**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent, Casual, Freelance
Part-time hours: 10-15 per week
**Salary**: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
