**You will be responsible for**:
**Event Planning**
- Planning and coordinating all aspects of events, including acting as the liaison with venues, external vendors, and providing catering plans
- Creating customised menus for weddings and corporate clients
- Manage the Event Plan for each event including décor, rentals, logístical details, costs, and timelines
- Coordinating and following up with clients and suppliers as necessary
- Management of the Event Calendar
- ensuring information is entered timely and is continually updated. Familiarity with Caterease is an asset.

Communication
- Maintain effective and customer focused communication throughout with all stakeholders.
- Respond to all client inquiries professionally and within the agreed timeframes and ensure client satisfaction with the response.

**Experience & Qualifications**:

- Established special event catering company with corporate & domestic portfolio
- Experience with event management software, preferably Caterease
- Knowledge of vendors and suppliers as well as an understanding of cultures and food is an asset
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build relationships
- High attention to detail
- A positive attitude and a will to succeed
- Strong time management skills and professionalism
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Flexibility to work overtime as required

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
