**About Us**:
We’re building a new food brand focused on chef-driven, gourmet meals crafted for scale and convenience. Our mission is to deliver real flavor, clean ingredients, and culinary creativity through thoughtfully developed recipes ready for commercial production.

We’re currently seeking an experienced **Italian Executive Chef** on a contract basis to help us develop **4-5 authentic, health-focused Italian recipes** designed for commercial-scale meal preparation and packaging.

**What You’ll Do**:

- Develop and test 4-5 Italian dishes (vegetarian or vegan preferred) suitable for commercial-scale food production.
- Conduct recipe R&D in a local cloud kitchen environment (kitchen access provided).
- Adjust recipes for clean-label requirements, nutritional balance, and consistency across batches.
- Collaborate with our team to refine ingredient choices, prep methods, and packaging suitability.
- Document ingredient lists, cooking steps, and preparation guidelines in a format ready for handoff to production partners.

**What We’re Looking For**:

- 5+ years of experience as an Executive Chef or Senior Chef specializing in Italian cuisine.
- Strong grasp of flavor layering, plant-based ingredients, and health-conscious cooking.
- Experience in developing recipes for commercial production or CPG (consumer packaged goods) is a strong plus.
- Proven ability to work independently and deliver dishes ready for scale-up.
- Must hold valid food safety certifications (as per Ontario regulations).

**Logistics**:

- **Engagement Type**: Hourly, contract-based.
- **Timeline**: Immediate start. Project duration estimated at 3-4 weeks.
- **Location**: Cloud kitchen facility near Richmond Hill, Ontario.

- Have experience designing meals for athletes, clean eaters, or vegan/vegetarian audiences.
- Enjoy innovation and recipe development beyond traditional formats.
