We’re a small law firm located in the heart of downtown Toronto, and we’re looking for a professional, friendly, and highly organized **Receptionist** to be the welcoming face of our office and a key support to our legal team.

**About the Role**:
As our Receptionist, you'll be the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and callers—setting the tone for a professional and client-focused experience.

In addition, you’ll assist our legal staff with administrative and legal support tasks, making this an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow within a legal environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Greet clients and visitors in a warm, professional manner
- Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and manage general inquiries
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail and couriers
- Schedule meetings and maintain conference room calendars
- Perform basic legal assistant duties such as document preparation, filing, and data entry
- Support lawyers and legal assistants with administrative tasks as needed
- Maintain a tidy and organized front desk and reception area
- Administering office technology systems: phone, copier, copy-tracking software
- Managing and ordering office supplies;
- Administering supplier and client invoicing;
**What We’re Looking For**:

- At least 3 years prior experience as an administrative assistant or receptionist, ideally in a legal or professional office setting
- legal environment experience or education is preferred (e.g., familiarity with legal terminology, documents, or procedures)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel) and Adobe
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
- Post-secondary education, skills training or certifications are an asset
