**What Are We About?**:
Reporting to the Vice-President and through collaborative relationships, this position is accountable for promoting and ensuring operational excellence across the Organizational Effectiveness & Human Resources (OEHR) division. The Operations Officer has a lead role in ensuring website currency and optimization, rolling out digital initiatives, researching best-in-class HR policies and procedures, planning and management (budget, tools, resources, records), and provides executive support to the Vice-President and OEHR team. The Operations Officer also is a key contributor to organizational events (e.g., recognition).

**What We Are Looking For**:
- A 3-year diploma or degree in a related discipline (such as Human Resources, Business Administration or Psychology)
- A minimum of 5 years’ recent and relevant work experience in Human Resources; preferably within the post-secondary environment or other large, complex organization;
- A professional Human Resources designation such as CHRP achieved or in-progress is preferred;
- Well-developed analytical and research skills with the ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines;
- Ability to establish respectful working relationships across all groups and with diverse stakeholders;
- Demonstrated passion for client service, operational excellence and continuous improvement;
- Exceptional communication skills (oral and writing) and influencing skills to gain cooperation;
- A project management mindset;
- Outstanding interpersonal skills with ability to deal with confidential and sensitive issues in a professional and caring manner;
- Knowledge of HR policies and practices with a demonstrated interest in keeping current with employment law and regulations;
- Excellent planning, project management and innovative problem-solving skills;
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively; and
- Demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusion.
