Looking for an experienced and motivated Office/Project Manager to join our team We are an established electrical contractor that has been operating in Peterborough and the surrounding areas for over 40 years.

Reporting to the business owner and working alongside our admin staff and bookkeeper, you will be responsible for managing the invoicing and collection of outstanding receivables, investigating and resolving customer billing queries, as well as maintaining an organized and efficient office setting.

Your new role will include:

- Answering phones and responding to customer inquiries
- Assisting with job scheduling and project management
- Assisting with producing and issuing estimates for future work
- Preparing and issuing invoices and customer receipts
- Processing customer payments and bank deposits
- Tracking employee time and material
- Managing payroll and personnel processes
- Maintaining an organized filing system
- Maintaining relationships with customers/vendors/suppliers
- Additional tasks as needed.

What we are looking for:

- Previous experience as an Office Manager, Administrative Assistant, Project Consultant or Project Manager.
- Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Outlook, in particular)
- Knowledge of standard office procedures and legal requirements (ex. remittance deadlines etc.)
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational, planning and leadership skills in a fast-paced environment

What will make you stand out:

- Previous experience in the Electrical Industry considered an asset
- Post-secondary education with relevant degree/diploma
- Knowledge of the skilled trades and 309A requirements considered an asset

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Peterborough, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

- Secondary School (preferred)
