About the Accounts Payable Specialist Role:
Coldbox offers a structured and stable work environment built on known relationships and well-defined processes. In this role you will focus on producing high quality, detailed work based on company procedures and established accounting standards. Precise and consistent work output is essential, requiring patience and a willingness to handle and complete assigned tasks. **What will you do?**
- This role is primarily focus on Corporate AP and perform full cycle accounts payable functions
- Assist AP Manager with company overall AP processes and procedures
- Assist wit manage vendor master
- Analyzing expenses and propose cost saving initiatives
- Assist with ERP implementation and AP transitions from
- Batch, code, obtain approval, enter, and issue payment and file all A/P invoices Monitor A/P aging and keep accounts current
- Collaborate with the finance team as a key participant in month-end procedures
- Effectively communicate with team members to obtain required invoice approvals
- Address, document and follow through on all A/P discrepancies

**What will you need to succeed?**
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong technical and analytical focus
- Ability to work within established policies and procedures at a steady, even pace to promote accuracy and quality of work
- Effective communication skills and supportive, collaborative approach with management and peers

**Education and Experience Requirements**
- 4 - 6 years full-cycle A/P experience in Construction, Manufacturing or Logistics
- Bachelor’s Degree or College Diploma with a major in Accounting
