As part of the Kingspan Group, Vicwest has an ambitious sustainability program revolving around the impact of building materials on the environment. **Position Summary**: The Accounts Payable Supervisor is a key member on the Vicwest Finance team and reports directly to the Financial Controller. The role is responsible for supervising our accounts payable team, performing certain account reconciliations, and providing support in the day-to-day payables function. The Accounts Payable Supervisor is accountable for the maintenance and integrity of the accounts payable records. **Key Responsibilities**: **1.** Manage a team of 3 Accounts Payable clerks and oversee the entire AP process by supervising Invoice entries to SAP, PO creation and Goods received not invoiced (GRNI Ledger), communicating with vendors/internal departments for any clarification as needed. **2.** Prepare month-end reporting tasks on a timely basis and create an action plan to address any discrepancies **3. **Provide support to the team by clearly communicating the department's expectations and tasks with team members in relation to deadlines and schedule compliance, provide necessary training/coaching and prepare performance evaluations to deliver relevant and timely feedback. **Qualifications**: - Post-secondary degree in Accounting or Finance, accounting designation (CPA) is an asset - Ability to work in a fast paced, high-volume environment - Proficient in Microsoft Office suite or programs, including Excel and with SAP FICO module - Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - Min. 1-3 years of experience managing a team in a collaborative environment - Possesses a personal growth mindset with leadership interest - Bilingualism (French) is an asset **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent **Benefits**: - Company events - Dental care - Disability insurance - Employee assistance program - Extended health care - Life insurance - On-site parking - Paid time off - RRSP match - Tuition reimbursement - Vision care Schedule: - Day shift Ability to commute/relocate: - Burlington, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred) **Experience**: - Accounts payable: 3 years (required) - Supervising: 1 year (required)
