- Department: Golf Department_
- Reports to: Director of Golf and/or Outside Services Manager and Golf Professionals_
- Compensation: $18-$21 per hour_
- Job Type: Part Time/Full Time positions available; Seasonal (April-September)_

**Available Positions**:
►**Golf Shop Associate**: Manages the daily tee sheet, handles all incoming phone calls, promotes retail sales and transactions, assists with event preparation and execution, enforces club policies and general guidelines, assists with outside services as needed and responsible for daily cash outs.

►**Starter**: Manages the 1st tee and golf course, promotes and enforces pace of play, enforces club policies, keeps members up to speed on recent initiatives and events, and encourages a positive atmosphere for members as they begin their round.

►**Outside Services Attendant**: Manages and maintains the short game area (as part of the entire golf operations), manage the bag room, cleans clubs, stores clubs on racking (up to 50 pounds), takes care of all members needs as requested, ensures proper handling and parking of power carts, daily cleaning initiatives, picks range balls, is the first and last impression for the member each day.

►**Range Services Attendant**: Ensures the range is fully stocked and presented in an immaculate fashion throughout the day, greets members and guests at the range, creates a welcoming atmosphere, picks range balls, maintains the ball shed, and ensures the short game area is kept clean and tidy throughout the day.

**Who We’re Looking For**:

- Experience in golf operations and service hospitality.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively under pressure.
- Customer service-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with computer systems, including tee time scheduling and POS systems.
- All golf operations positions at Vancouver Golf Club require a people first attitude, a keen desire to deliver a first class memorable experience on a daily basis, and a general love for people and golf.
- Available to work a flexible schedule during peak months (April to October), including a combination of weekends, holidays, and peak golf season hours.

**Working Conditions**:

- These roles work both indoors and outdoors throughout the golf shop, back shop, driving range and golf course.
- Regular interactions with VGC members, guests, and staff, both indoors and outdoors.
- May require lifting or moving golf equipment of up to 50lbs and working in various weather conditions.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 35 per week
