**Turf Care (Entry Level and Experienced)**

The Turf Care team are the first employees onsite, we prep the course for the day’s tee times and complete regular maintenance on the golf playing surfaces.

Come work with nature on the mountain only 10 minutes from downtown Coquitlam, start your day early, get some exercise and have your afternoons free

If you have the capability to work in a team setting, possess a positive attitude with attention to detail and the ability to be at work early mornings prepared for all types of weather, then the Turf Care Team is for you No experience necessary, training for all tasks will be provided.

While this outline attempts to be all encompassing, this position will evolve beyond these categories. This role is expected to anticipate business needs and to do anything that will help Westwood Plateau Golf accomplish its department objectives.

Duties

▪ Drive Bunker Rake and maintain sand traps.

▪ Operate light powered equipment and self-propelled mowers in the maintenance of greens and collars.

▪ Use ride on mowers to condition tees, fairways, and roughs in an efficient and safe manner

▪ Repair divots on tees and fairways.

▪ Operate course irrigation system.

▪ Communicate equipment malfunctions to Assistant Superintendent or Superintendent.

Qualifications:

- Must have a valid class 7 (N) or class 5 (full) license. A copy of your driver’s license will be kept on file until the end of the season.
- First Aid Certificate is an asset but not required.

Wage: $16.75 to $20.00 per hour based on experience, availability, and relatable skills.

Part-time hours: 20 - 32 per week

**Salary**: $16.75-$20.00 per hour
